The purpose of affirmations is to help us focus on our goals and keep them proximate.   Also by keeping our goals proximate, we reduce the stress associated with the mundane tasks  required to achieve them.
No matter what your goals are in respect to the Internet, each of us need affirmations, hence, the purpose of this page.

Affirmation for the week ending February 8, 1998 ...

I know the importance of establishing a relationship with my computer.  To attain this I will remember to:
  • Keep my computer area uncluttered and clean.
  • Make certain that my workspace is comfortable and as "distraction-free" as possible.
  • Dust off the screen, keyboard, and CPU every-so often, and use it as much as possible.
  • Maintain a healthy sitting posture. As close to perfect as possible.
  • Designate a specific project or task for me and the computer at least once a week                (daily would be better, if you have the time and or inclination.
  • Take a deep breath to attain a mode of "calm" before operating my computer.
  • Ask myself, "What new thing have I learned?", after each session.
  •
Go ahead, take a few more DEEP BREATHS... You deserve them!
